SQF-2000 Certified

We are proud to announce that on October 03, 2008 our company became the first European trading company in fresh produce to successfully acquire SQF certification for its moperations. SQF stands for Safe Quality Food and is the newest and highest standard designed to warrant safety and quality in the food industry. It has been initiated in the United States and is supervised by the Food Marketing Institute. SQF standard goes further than ISO, HACCP, BRC and IFS that facilitate quality of the organisation and its hygiene.

SQF standard is primarily focused on the assurance of food safety, sustainability and product quality with application at all links in the food supply chain. SQF has been also recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative as conforming to the highest international standards.

Jaguar is pleased to add SQF to its other certificates and will introduce this system to our suppliers in all countries. Striving for the continuous improvement, we are going to define even more detailed and specified content for the quality instructions and (internal and external) product specifications. In line with SQF certification, we have recently initiated a number of projects in the area of sustainability. Implementation of SQF standards will contribute in assurance of certified processes in the domain of climatologic, social, cultural, environmental and the other forms of sustainability. Jaguar will inform you about the further developments in the near future.
